OSU, Burgin Checking Each Other Out

Quarterback Brooks Burgin of Dallas (Highland Park), Texas has been doing some heady things on the football field the past season and a half as the Scots starting signal caller. In 2013, he earned District 10-4A Offensive MVP honors with 3,497 passing yards and 707 rushing yards while accounting for 50 total touchdowns.

Pair Of Cowboys Arrested

Bill Haisten of the Tulsa World broke a story Monday afternoon that Oklahoma State sophomore wide receiver Jhajuan Seales and freshman cornerback Juwan Offray were both arrested by Stillwater Police at 4 a.m. Sunday as they had both fallen asleep in a vehicle at the Whataburger restaurant on Boomer Road.

Cowboys Get Whipped By Horned Frogs

The bad news following Oklahoma State’s 42-9 loss to TCU on Saturday – the fourth-worst loss in Mike Gundy’s tenure and worst since 2008 – is the schedule won't get easier. The No. 15 Cowboys' 33-point loss to the 12th-ranked Horned Frogs began a stretch against the Big 12’s best teams, and it won’t get any easier next week when Dana Holgorsen brings his West Virginia Mountaineers to Stillwater.
