Recruiting: Sherod Says OSU Felt Like Home

If linebacker Demarcus Sherod's visit is any indication then Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and his staff can expect a good summer of welcoming unofficial visitors and having them leave with a very positive feeling toward the Cowboys. As usual, early June and July are periods where a number of prospects will be on the go checking out the schools that have shown them attention so far.

That is exactly what the 6-2, 225-pound linebacker from Decatur (Columbus), Ga., was doing with his high school's recruiting coach (Coach Ward) as they were in Stillwater most of Wednesday and Thursday before leaving early Friday morning.
