Recruiting: Wheeler Picks Up New Offer

Defensive tackle Diamonte' Wheeler of Arlington (Bowie), Texas, sent us a text Wednesday afternoon to inform us that Texas Tech has now offered him.

Wheeler is a 6-2 1/2, 255 pound defensive tackle prospect. Oklahoma State offered Wheeler weeks ago and he was in Stillwater along with Bowie teammates Montra Nelson, a wide receiver that is committed to OSU, and defensive end Donovan Vestal.

Wheeler also has offers from Nebraska, Kansas, and Houston.
