As the Oklahoma State coaching staff comes off the road this weekend for the end of their four weeks on the road evaluating (and looking in on their commitments and offers) for the 2010 class there has been plenty of discussion, and at times seemingly panic, over the status of quarterback commitment Johnny Deaton of Sand Springs (Charles Page), Okla.

It all started earlier this week when reports surfaced that rival Oklahoma had dispatched assistant and former Sooner quarterback Josh Heupel to Sand Springs to check out the talented 6-2, 190-pound speedy Deaton.
