Recrutiing: Cobbs Narrows His List To 10

It was Wednesday of last week that Tulsa Central athlete Demarco Cobbs, the top football recruiting prospect in Oklahoma for the class of 2010, told us that he was narrowing his list of schools down to 10 from the multitude of offers that he has received. The 6-2, 200-pound Cobbs list of 10 was released Sunday morning in The Tulsa World and there was a surprise from our Wednesday conversation.

The list, which was in alphabetical order, had Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, OU, Tennessee, and USC. When we spoke with Cobbs we'd asked him if he anticipated any in-state schools being cut from his list of considerations. "Yes, Tulsa," said Cobbs.
