Seven players scored in double figures to lead Oklahoma State to a 113-65 victory over Langston in its second and final exhibition game on Saturday in Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowboys scored more than 100 points in both of its preseason exhibition games this season (they had 112 against Rogers State last Wednesday) for the first time since 1998.

Obi Muonelo scored 18 points to lead the Cowboys of first-year head coach Travis Ford. Ibrahima Thomas finished with a double-double (12 points and 12 rebounds) in just 13 minutes of play, while junior college transfer Malcoln Kirkland added 14 points in only 17 minutes of action.

Other Cowboys scoring in double figures included Terrel Harris (16), James Anderson (16), Byron Eaton (11) and Keiton Page (10).

Ford has instituted an up-tempo style of play with the Cowboys, and even after they scored 112 points against Rogers State in the first exhibition game of the season he said his team was playing too slow. After taking 74 shots from the field (including 34 three-pointers) on Wednesday night, the Cowboys had 93 shots (and 36 three-pointers) against Langston.

The last time OSU broke 100 points in both of its exhibition games was in 1998 with victories over the California All-Stars (104-86) and Athletes First (108-88).

The Cowboys open the season Friday night when they host Texas-San Antonio, coached by former OSU player Brooks Thompson, at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
