Predictions: OSU-Mizzou and the Big 12

Robert Allen's prediction on the Oklahoma State-Missouri game, and the other five games involving Big 12 Conference teams.

First, I will be honest that it will be a very tough chore for Oklahoma State to knock of Missouri in Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo. The place does live up to it’s nickname of “The Zou” especially for night games.

However, I cannot pick against my own blood, if you know what I mean. I also am around these players and they have built tremendous confidence and believe they are going to win, and why not? They can win.

The best recipe on this thing is similar to the Cowboys' first five wins on the season with just a tighter situation. Instead of a three, four or more score lead where they can front run and try to control the game a little, the Cowboys need to work on getting a two score advantage and if they can then that is enough to run the ball, work on the clock, and play safer on defense to avoid home run plays.

The problem is Missouri hits home runs when defenses are playing with their back on the wall, a figure of speech. Suffice to say that you do whatever you have to and just end the game one score, one point better than the Tigers.

Get ready because this game should be one heck-of-a ride.
