Recruiting: Brandon Webb Picks OSU Over OU

Brandon Webb, the top offensive line prospect in the state of Oklahoma, verbally committed Tuesday to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder from Owasso, Okla., is ranked as the 11th-best offensive guard prospect in the nation, and picked OSU over Oklahoma, where his dad Terry Webb was an standout lineman. Webb called Owasso head coach Bill Patterson with the news on Tuesday.

"In talking to him the last two or three weeks I knew he was close to making a decision," Patterson said. "I knew it had come down to Oklahoma State and OU, and he told me he had made the decision in the last 48 hours that he was going to be a Cowboy."
