Less than a week on the job, new Oklahoma State head basketball coach Travis Ford has suspended senior-to-be Terrel Harris indefinitely for violating team rules, it was announced early Wednesday evening by the OSU Media Relations Office.

The 6-foot-5 guard from Dallas was one of two four-year lettermen (the other being point guard Byron Eaton) expected to play for the Cowboys in Ford's first season as the head coach.

Harris averaged 10.5 points (third best on the team) and 4.2 rebounds for the Cowboys last season. He started 20 of the team's 30 games, shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 27.7 percent from three-point range.
