Recruiting: Beau Johnson Makes It Official

Beau Johnson, the MVP in Butler County (Kans.) Community College's national championship game victory over Snow (Utah) on Dec. 1, said Wednesday morning that he would be signing with Oklahoma State. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back said he would be signing and faxing his letter of intent within 20 to 30 minutes when GoPokes.com spoke with him around 10:40 a.m. (Central time).

"I'm signing with Oklahoma State. I'll be faxing it in in the next 20 to 30 minutes," said Johnson, who rushed for 288 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries in Butler's 56-27 victory over Snow in the junior college national championship game.
