Recruiting: Curtis Lays It Out After UA Camp
This week he attended camp in his home state at the University of Arkansas and reports coming out of the camp made it sound like Curtis was practically a lock to stay in state and be a Razorback.
"It didn't change anything with me," said Curtis on Thursday night. "It was real fun and i got to hang around the coaches and see them work. They work hard and that was good for me to see, but nothing has changed."
Curtis had said a couple of weeks ago that Arkansas and Oklahoma State were his top two and he also had an attraction to Tennessee growing up. His recruitment is far from limited to that trio of schools as nearly every school in the Big 12, SEC, as well as other national powers, have shown interest in him.
At the Arkansas camp he turned in a 4.48 electronically timed 40-yard dash. He also showed off an impressive 34.5-inch vertical jump. Now the question is where will Curtis display his athletic ability or at least show up and check out schools next.
"I leave for Tennessee tomorrow," said Curtis when asked what was next on his itinerary. "I'm looking forward to seeing the campus and meeting the coaches. I'm also going to go visit (unofficially) Oklahoma State. That is coming up close too."
Those were the only unofficial visits that Curtis knew he would be taking here the rest of the summer. It obviously could change, but for now Curtis said again, nothing has changed. He's still looking around and trying to find the right school to take his football talents and get his college education.
