Recruiting: Top Texas DT Has OSU In Top Two

Jarvis Humphrey of Cedar Hill, Texas is considered one of the top defensive tackle prospects in Texas and the nation. The 6-2, 290-pound Humphrey helped the Longhorns win the Class 5A state championship this past season and has proven that he is a major load for any offense to deal with inside.

He was an all-district performer and received some all-metro attention as well. Humphrey runs a 5.0 in the 40-yard dash and has a bench press max of 300 and can squat 570 pounds. He is a powerlifter and also competes in shot and discus in track and field for Cedar Hill. Humphrey has been in high demand so far in the early recruiting for signing day 2008.
