Hoops Recruiting: Keiton Page Opens Season

Keiton Page, the junior from Pawnee (Okla.) High School who has already verbally committed to Oklahoma State, began the 2006-07 basketball season Tuesday night with an outstanding performance. Page scored a game-high 40 points as Pawnee defeated Newkirk 88-47.

The 5-foot-10 Page put up some amazing numbers, especially considering he only played half of the second quarter and was on the court for only about a minute of the fourth period. His official stats were as follows:

7-10 on two-point FGs
7-10 on three-pointers
5-6 free throws
8 assists
3 steals
2 rebounds
1 blocked shot
1 turnover
