Higby and his parents liked what they saw.
"It went really well and we liked everything we saw at OSU," Higby explained. "For me personally, it was the dorms. The players have a nice place to live and they are like nice apartments.
"Then there are the football facilities and the weight room, and all of that is really nice too," he added.
Higby said he has no timetable when it comes to narrowing down the three schools on his list. His senior season begins with the first practice on Monday and he will know when he knows on that college choice.
Having watched Higby on tape, he a big, strong blocker that has a good intuition on which way a defender wants to go. Higby uses his strength to just take the defender by the ballcarrier or out of range of the quarterback and he usually finishes by putting the defender on the ground. It's amazing how many times that happens.
When his recruiting is over he will put down two of those three schools, but one school is going to be very happy that Higby said yes.
