Bakari who has been offered by TCU, Colorado and North Texas, and was being recruited as well by Arkansas, Baylor, Northwestern, OU, SMU, and Texas is Legacy's junior class president. But he has also been productive on the field.
Last season, he had 44 tackles with six sacks and three other tackles for loss. He also caused two fumbles. His sophomore season he broke on the varsity scene with 51 tackles and two tackles for loss with two pass deflections.
Bakari is 6-2 and 287 pounds. He has a bench press max currently of 315 pounds with a squat maximum of 520 pounds.
Bakari is a man of few words, but he did add that he plans on majoring in kinesiology and wants to coach football. Having seen him play and seen him in person at the Orange Blitz he would appear to fit in quite nicely as a player in the 2015 recruiting class.
