Monster Recruiting Weekend Planned

For the fourth straight recruiting season Oklahoma State will use a monster visit weekend as the centerpiece of its on-campus recruiting. Recruiting coordinator Johnny Barr and assistant Mike Groce, as well as Benny Tonga. will have a lot of work coming up when the Cowboys end up hosting 18 recruits for official visits on Friday, Jan. 17.

Of OSU's current list of 25 commitments, running back Devon Thomas (December visit) and quarterback Mason Rudolph are already on campus. Junior college linebacker Devante Averette, who is a mid-year transfer, visited for the Kansas State game. Another junior college mid-year transfer Tyreek Hill has never made an official visit.
