The NCAA Baseball Selection Committee could have been cute and sent Oklahoma State to the regional in Raleigh, N.C., to face North Carolina State and Josh Holliday's dad, Wolfpacks associate head coach Tom Holliday. Instead Holliday and the Cowboys will travel to Louisville to face Miami (Fla.) in the first round of the double elimination four-team bracket.

Host Louisville (46-12) will open with Bowling Green (24-29). The Falcons are one of the highest RPI teams in the field at No. 202 on the simulated RPI as they qualified by winning the Mid-America Conference with a 7-0 win in the title game over Ball State.

The Cowboys (39-17() draw a team that faced one of the toughest schedules in the nation as Miami, Fla. (34-23) was No. 19 in the up-to-date simulated RPI.
