Jourdan Blake

Standout quarterback/athlete Jourdan Blake of Princeton, Texas, who was in attendance with his dad, former OU head coach and NFL assistant coach John Blake, at the Oklahoma State Spring Football Finale, confirmed that Oklahoma State has offered him a scholarship.

OSU cornerbacks coach Van Malone was the coach that Blake said called him with a scholarship offer.

Blake said he would like to play quarterback, but understands and is willing to move positions, likely to cornerback. He also said he has a strong interest in the Cowboys along with South Florida and Illinois, who have both offered, and Texas Tech and Baylor.

Jourdan Blake is 6-1, 185 pounds and has excellent speed with a 4.49 in the forty, a 10.9 clocking in the 100 meters, and a 22.0 flat in the 200 meters. Blake is involved in track right now and competes in the 100, 200, and 4X100 meter relay.

A quarterback at Princeton, Blake threw for 2,100 yards last season and 22 touchdowns and ran for more than 1,000yards and scored 10 rushing touchdowns. Prior to moving to Princeton he played high school football in Durham, N.C. near where his dad was an assistant football coach at North Carolina.
