The Lions will have to do without Bowser on Friday night as he told us he is missing the game in order to make a trip to Stillwater for an official visit to Oklahoma State.
"I'm hoping to find a good architecture school because that is what I want to major in," said Bowser of what he will be looking for on his recruiting visit. "I have seen the facilities and they are good. But I also want to see what campus life is like there, outside of football."
Those are both very good aspects to check out as Bowser seems to know about the football, both Oklahoma State and his. This season Bowser was intrumental in the Lions long playoff run in Class 4A as he earned All-State first team honors with 47 total tackles, 42 unassisted, 15 sacks, and 4 fumbles caused. Not to mention his touchdown runs and a touchdown pass playing quarterback.
Bowser said he does not have any other visits set up at this point but he has other suitors in recruiting. "Texas Tech, Houston, and Memphis," said Bowser in answering which schools he was hearing from. "TCU too."
We'll see how it goes this weekend for Bowser as he will be making his visit with John Tyler teammate Fred Ross, a longtime OSU commitment.
