Kevin Noreen's performance in Saturday's win over Virginia Tech may have shocked many onlookers, but not Mountaineer coach Bob Huggins, who said Noreen's work ethic is something to behold.

Noreen said his 3-point prowess may have been new to West Virginia fans, but he reminded reporters that he actually ranks No. 3 all time in Minnesota high school basketball in terms of made 3-point field goals.

Another surprise outside shooter was center Aaric Murray, who said the Mountaineers will simply have to make jump shots until opposing defenses respect their ability to do so. Murray's pair of 3-pointers against the Hokies should help in that regard.
