"I have committed to Texas Tech and I committed to them because they told me that I am their No. 1 man," Daryl Chestnut told Scout.
"They told me they want to feature a hungry and underrated kid from Miami in their offense and that I am a four-star in their eyes."
Chestnut had double-digit scholarship offers when he chose the Red Raiders and he is a strong commitment, but is he done with the process?
"I am a solid commitment to them, but I am still open. I am still looking at Miami, Florida State, and West Virginia."
The three-star running back out of Columbus High School is 5-feet 9-inches tall and he weighs 190 pounds.
