This season also marks the third straight in which the Conference is averaging over 30 points a game, and the fourth out of five seasons. The Big 12 leads all leagues in points per game (35.7), touchdowns per game
(4.59), passing TDs per game (2.29) and rushing TDs per game (2.00).

The top five teams in the league standings are all riding winning streaks, while the bottom five are all on a losing skid. That will change this week as Iowa State and Kansas square off in the bottom five, while Texas Tech and Oklahoma State battle for fourth in the league.

Texas Tech invades Oklahoma State with positioning for a good bowl on the line. The Red Raiders have a solid defense, but the Pokes' balance and home field give them the edge.
I spent less time analyzing this game than I did writing this paragraph. Iowa State wins.
West Virginia desperately needs a win. Playing Oklahoma probably isn't the best recipe for getting one. The Sooners continue to build for a possible at-large BCS berth.
Baylor will try to lay a trap for visiting Kansas State, but the Bears just don't have enough weapons to snare the Wildcats.
