Lunt’s actual age is one thing, but how old does he look in pads? How old does he play? I took an informal poll of OSU players to find out:
Offensive lineman Jonathan Rush: Are we talking about his looks? Because he looks about 15. I don’t know exactly what age he is, but he looks old enough. He looks old enough to be able to command an offense and be able to do what we need him to do. And that’s all that matters.
Safety Daytawion Lowe: I would still say he was young, just because I’ve been around for a minute, but I wouldn’t give him 18. I’d say he was at least 19 or 20. I would probably say he was a sophomore.
Cornerback Devin Hedgepeth: If I would have never known anything about him, first watching him play, the way he acts, I would say in the 20s, (about) 23, 24. He’s extremely mature for his age.
Defensive end Nigel Nicholas: He’s not a freshman, he’s a junior. I feel like he’s very composed, handles pressure well. With all the attention, he’s acting very mature for his age.
Wide receiver Isaiah Anderson: Just because he’s a quarterback, I’ll give him Weeden’s age. I’ll give him 27.
