Lunt Wins Second State Championship

After missing the first four games of his senior season following a broken foot, Rochester High School and future Oklahoma State Cowboy quarterback Wes Lunt made good use of his time back on the field for his senior season.

Lunt guided the Rockets to a 12-2 overall record, 9-1 after his return, and a second straight Illinois Class 4A State Championship won Friday night over Richmond Burton 42-39.
