Hawkins Spends Long Weekend In Stillwater

"Man, it has been blazing hot, and then you walk outside the coliseum and it is pouring rain," said Northwest Mississippi Community College standout offensive tackle Donald Hawkins on Wednesday afternoon when asked if it was hot on the Senatobia, Miss. campus where Hawkins is working out and attending summer school. When told to try to stay cool, he laughed real big.

Real big is what Donald Hawkins is, and real good is what he has developed into at Northwest Mississippi as the 6-5, 320-pound offensive tackle is the anchor of the offensive line and one of the best offensive line prospects in the junior colleges in the south.
