Speedster Corey Coleman of Richardson (Pearce), Texas recently said he had narrowed his choices to two schools – Oklahoma State and Baylor – and said a few days ago that a decision would be forthcoming after the Pearce spring football game in late May. Oklahoma State and Baylor are still in the mix but but an offer from Oklahoma has changed the mind of the 5-11, 180-pound Coleman.

"That (OU offer) does change things a little bit," said Coleman. "I am considering them too.

"They want me to play cornerback and I don't know how good I can be at corner. I'm going to play it this season. I think I will start both ways at wide receiver and corner. I just want to play whatever gets me on the field the fastest. I think I can play either."

Coleman said it is now between the three Big 12 schools.

"Baylor and Oklahoma State and Oklahoma makes it three right now," he said. "I will still commit sometime after the spring game. I'll text you when I know."

The 5-11, 180-pound Coleman can fly with a 4.4 in the forty. He is currently wrapping up track season where he competes in the 200 meters, 4x100 meter and 4x200 meter relays along with triple jump and high jump.

Last season Coleman scored 24 total touchdowns. He caught 68 passes for 1,003 yards and 11 touchdowns. He ran for 426 yards and another 11 scores. His other two touchdowns came on special teams on returns.
