Strahan said he has no opinion on either school right now and he has not had the time to visit either place and he said there is no timetable for him to make visits.
Blinn is 4-2 and looking for a berth in the playoffs to defend its Southwest J.C. title as they were also NJCAA national champs last season. Strahan is both athletic and strong as he can run a 5.1 in the forty and has a bench press max of 455 pounds and a squat max of 600. This season he had eight tackles through four games with 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
He said coming out of Humble High School that he was recruited by a number of schools including Baylor and Houston. He added that he plans to major in business.
While it sounds like the Cowboys and the Aggies are the major schools in the mix for Strahan, it also seems early as his attention is focused on his season and not so much his recruiting. Not a bad thing as you know he is serious about his football.
His teammate, linebacker Alex Elkins, recently committed to Oklahoma State.
